Unwanted Visitor
Yesterday we had a woman who is NOT a member come into the park. We are not sure if she came in through the cranberry bogs or followed someone through the gate.
She entered OUR lodge and was hiding out in the library it just happened that Jalene, Kim, Karen, and I were in the lodge around 2:30 and she was already there. She was hiding out in the library behind the door until the coast was clear. This is why we have cameras in the lodge because we have her on video.
She attempted to break into the kitchen. She destroyed the doorknob and around the door in the process. She did not get into the kitchen.
She then stole all the items from our free table. She left dropped off her goods and came back, took a shower, and watched TV. She waited until dark to leave through the out gate.
The sheriff was called, and we filed a report. The responding deputy knew who this woman was and are attempting to locate her now. Once she is in custody, we will press charges.
Again, this is all on Video.
Folks, if you see someone wandering around the area who you don’t recognize, we as members have every right to question them.
UPDATE!!!!! SHE IS IN CUSTODY!
