Howdy friends and neighbors.
Well, it looks like we made it through the ice storm.
Currently we are back to the normal PNW rain, and lots of it.
For three days, our temps were in the low 20's, and that means frozen pipes. The thing about frozen pipes that break is you don't know it until they thaw. At last count, there were 12 frozen, and seven of them broke. In all cases of the seven, the main valve was left in the open position. We have closed them. So heads up, some members are looking at repairs before they can turn the valve back on.
Hopefully we can do better in the future.
Earlier this week, Metro Gate called, and because of the frozen road conditions in Portland, they canceled our appointment to come work on our front gate. We are now on their list for Monday, Jan. 22, and sooner if the roads clear.
Other than that, we're doing ok.
