Cable Box Not Working?
If you cable box is not getting all the channels or not working at all, it probably needs to be "pinged." These cable boxes need to be connect to the cable and powered up or they loose their programming in 30 days. Most of the boxes now in the office are needing to be "pinged" which will reprogram them. If your box is in this condition, connect it all up (you can leave the TV off) and it should get pinged by the next morning. Sometimes the pings go out during the day to, so you can check back on it periodically.
If you cable box suddenly loses channels and on some channels, the picture is "pixilated", just unplug the power cord to the cable box for 30 seconds, then plug it back in. Wait a minute or so, and it should be reset and then work fine.
If that doesn't work, we may need to get Charter involved. Check with the office first!
