07/27/23 - WEEKLY UPDATE
WEEKLY UPDATE 07/27/23
THANKS
This week I would like to thank our Safari volunteers John Landry and Dick Santoro. They have been busy replacing more of the outdated electric meters. I understand there are only about 40 or so left that need replacing. Thanks guys!
JULY 4th INCIDENT
I know some members are anxious to know more about the incident that occurred on July 4 in which an incendiary device was detonated in the park. We have been waiting to hear from the sheriff’s department for more details. When we have had an opportunity to review all the information, we will update you with the results of that investigation. Thank you for your patience.
SAFARI DAYS
Safari Days is coming together nicely! I have a report from the coordinator of that project, Tammie Ohrman:
I want to thank everyone who reached out to me to help for Safari Days I believe we will have everything we need to make this a fun weekend for all.
There are a few things that can help even more
I still need someone to volunteer to run kids games....
We have the games and prizes... Someone just had to step up to lead them. It will be about a half hour to set up and almost an hour to run games. Will someone please contact me to volunteer so we can make sure the kids will have fun also?
